Komarusamy Shunmugam is a Partner and practices at the firm’s branch in Klang, Selangor. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Law (Hons) from University of London and was admitted to the Malaysia Bar in 2012.
Shunmugam served the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) and was attached to the Special Branch Division, Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur and retired as Superintendent of Police in 2011 after 31 years of service.
During his tenure in the RMP, he had the opportunity of attending several international courses overseas pertaining to terrorism activities, anti-money laundering, financial investigations etc. He had also attended courses on “Counter Terrorism” in the Scotland Yard, U.K and at the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Academy, Quantico, Washington DC.
